Ingredients
  • 3 Eggs
  • 75 g Plain flour
  • 150 g Dark chocolate
  • 40 g Cocoa powder
  • 275 g Caster sugar
  • 175 g Unsalted Butter
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Line a square tin (7"x 8") with baking parchment.

  2. Fill a saucepan with water. Place a bowl with the butter and dark chocolate on top of the saucepan. Slowly heat the water but don't allow the water to touch the bowl. Once the butter and dark chocolate has melted, leave aside to cool.

  3. Add the eggs and sugar in the food mixer and mix for around 3 minutes or until its a frothy mixture

  4. Add the cool chocolate mixture to the mixing bowl and stir with a wooden spoon

  5. Sift the flour and cocoa into the mixture then stir well.

  6. Pour the mixture into the square tin

  7. Place the tin into the oven for around 30-35 mins, until the top is slightly cracked. Be careful not to over cook the brownies.

  8. Take the brownies out of the oven and leave to cool completely. Once cooled, cut the brownies into squares. The longer you leave them before cutting, the fudgier they are!
